Patriarchy has been the most dominant form of social structure and gender relations i.e. relations of men and women across the world. The scholars, as feminists in the developed world of American and European societies started investigating relations of men and women in all spheres of private and public domain like family, office and industry in the contemporary time. This research paper reflects the relations of men and women in patriarchal frame into three sections. The first section, looks such relations into primitive and non-modern society; the second, focusing upon the patriarchy as structure of practice, domination, control and governance. And the last, deals with the efforts of feminist to bring improvement into such relationships across the world.
