Unheard Neighbours investigates the acoustic restoration of Derby Reach Regional Park. By introducing a Living Buffer aligned with the Stó:lō 13-Moon Calendar, the project filters industrial noise and accelerates bog-to-forest succession. An Acoustic Trail with specialized Sonic Stops facilitates inclusive auditory immersion for all visitors, specifically providing the low-vision community a rare opportunity to experience the landscape beyond visual-centric norms. Ultimately, the design reframesbirdsong as an ecological indicator, re-tuning the fractured landscape through structural complexity and reciprocal listening.
