TAGLN-NeoLib is an original research hypothesis and targeted biomarker-discovery brief. It proposes to test whether selected transgelin/TAGLN-derived candidate neo-fragments are detectable, reproducible, and relatively enriched in menstrual blood from patients with adenomyosis using targeted LC-MS/MS. The project does not claim a validated diagnostic biomarker and does not propose to measure total TAGLN. The proposed strategy includes clinically relevant comparator groups and strict Go/No-Go rules before any conditional immunoassay development.
