The article substantiates the prospects of using regional foresight as a tool for managing the structural and technological transformation of the regional economy. A conceptual model for its implementation is proposed, integrating principles, organizational mechanism, process cycle and design methodology. Using materials from the Vologda oblast, the practical application of foresight methods for developing a regional development strategy is demonstrated.
