The Korean Chronic Total Occlusion (K-CTO) registry 2.0, a nationwide retrospective study of 9,316 patients, provides contemporary insights into chronic total occlusion (CTO) management in South Korea.Among these patients, 78% underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with an overall procedural success rate of 82.2%.Predictors of PCI attempt included younger age, prior PCI, and stable angina, while diabetes and prior coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) were associated with fewer attempts.During follow-up, major adverse events occurred in approximately 18-19% of patients, and 5-year mortality was 8.4%.CTO-PCI in Korea demonstrated high procedural success with favorable long-term outcomes.
