ABSTRACT A pyrolysis method was employed to deposit Co doped RuO 2 nanoparticles on nitrogen‐doped hollow carbon spheres (NHCS). Attributed to the excellent bifunctional electrocatalytic properties of Co‐RuO 2 @NHCS, the zinc‐air battery yielded an open circuit voltage of 1.51 V and the power density reached 180 mW/m 2 . After 800 galvanostatic charge‐discharge cycles, the charge‐discharge voltage gap of the battery only decayed by 5.7%, demonstrating superior cycling stability.
