A BSTRACT Migraines represent a significant health burden globally and are particularly prevalent in Saudi Arabia, with rates exceeding the global average. Effective management of acute migraine attacks is crucial for improving patient outcomes. Ubrogepant, a calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor antagonist, has shown promise in treating acute migraines. While previous research has confirmed its efficacy and safety in different populations, there is a lack of localized data evaluating its use among patients in Saudi Arabia. To evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of Ubrogepant 100 mg for acute migraine management among patients in Hail City, Saudi Arabia. This retrospective case series included all patients prescribed Ubrogepant 100 mg for acute migraine attacks. Eligible patients were identified through electronic medical records and contacted via patient portal, phone, or clinic visits to complete a 15-item open-ended questionnaire. The survey assessed treatment response, safety, and tolerability of Ubrogepant. Among 27 migraine patients treated with Ubrogepant, nearly 70% achieved complete headache resolution within 2 hours, and 80% experienced significant migraine relief within 1.5 hours. Functional disability scores significantly improved ( P = .001), and associated symptoms such as photophobia and nausea also declined. While nearly half (48%) experienced mild side effects, mostly fatigue, more than half reported no adverse events. Ubrogepant 100 mg was effective and well-tolerated for acute migraine treatment, with most patients experiencing pain relief and improved function within 2 hours. Most reported no side effects, supporting its use as a safe treatment option for acute migraine.
