calligraphy is the carrier of Chinese culture and the lifeblood of cultural inheritance. With the progress of the science and technology, the traditional writing brushes, ink, paper and inkstone have already been replaced by computers, mobile phones and hard-tipped pens. The internal cultural essence and connotation contained in Chinese calligraphy also have little impact on children. After the in-depth research during recent years, it is found that the combination of data information processing technology and calligraphy teaching can stimulate students’ learning interest and enthusiasm. Through data analysis and processing, students can quickly master the characteristics and structure laws of fonts, which is of great help to improve students’ humanistic quality. The combination of data information processing technology and calligraphy should be the mainstream teaching means of calligraphy education in the future.
