We deliberately preface this examination of fantasy and creativity in adolescence with a brief digression into psychopathology. With this beginning we hope to emphasize sharply and clearly that in light of our particular understanding of the psychology of the adolescent, this problem creates a completely new position that is contrary to the traditional position generally accepted in the pedology of the adolescent.
