A procedure for supply restoration in distribution networks based on fuzzy risk management is proposed in this paper. The introduction of fuzzy logic enables more realistic modeling of uncertainty in the acquaintance of network load and payback effect, while risk management provides higher quality of decision-making in the restoration process in such an uncertainty environment. The proposed algorithm is tested on several real-life distribution networks. The obtained results show that acceptance of a certain risk provides a reduction of expected costs due to undelivered energy during the process of supply restoration.
