The article presents an algorithm for the structural and parametric optimization of ducted supply and exhaust ventilation systems. The problem of modern engineering design is investigated. The ventilation system is a multi-criteria system, where conflicting factors such as energy efficiency, cost, reliability, weight, dimensions and maintenance must be balanced. An effective scheme for the layout of IDP was chosen using multi-criteria methods, such as the hierarchy analysis method (MAI) to determine the priorities of criteria (where cost and energy efficiency are recognized as dominant) and two independent integral criteria (additive convolution and minimax deviation) to increase the reliability of decision-making.
