This course module includes 4 chapters focused on life history analysis using Madagascar organisms as examples. The module is meant to be a tool for anyone interested in studying life history topics. We recommend completing the chapters in order. Beginners to RStudio and life history studies are recommended to begin with Module 0 and may further expand their knowledge following the references provided in each module. Users with more experience may begin at Module 2. All data are provided in. RData format and modules in an. html format. See below the modules and their appropriate data. Module 0 (SifakaLifeTable. RData SifakaLifeTable. xlsx): For beginners to RStudio. Module 1 (Module1BaobabCensus. RData Module1FrogCensus. RData): For users that want to gain knowledge on how life history data may be recorded through observations and formatted in a datasheet for analysis. Module 2 (SifakaLifeTable. RData): Begin here if you have RStudio experience but are unfamiliar with life tables and biostatistics. Module 3 (MatrixAfrog. RData): Learn about matrix models using a tomato frog case scenario. Module 4 (BaoMatₐvg. RData): Continue learning about matrix models using baobab tree in two environments as a case scenario.
