A Series of 1,817 Patients Seen in a Casualty Department

Many patients go to the casualty department of this hospital as they would to their own doctor's surgery. At the same time, the casualty officer has the resources of a large hospital at his disposal. It therefore seemed worth while to analyse complaints, diagnosis, and treat- ment of a large series of such patients.
