Cheung, Remmen, Sciotti, and Tarquini (Phys. Rev. Lett. , 2026) recently proved that string theory amplitudes are recoverable from minimal mathematical inputs (analyticity, unitarity, ultrasoftness). We show that string theory is an EMERGENT SPECIAL CASE of the One-Octonion Brane-Bulk Framework, not a fundamental theory in its own right. The three structural ingredients that Cheung et al. require — exponential amplitude suppression, a discrete spectrum, and minimal zeros at specific Regge slopes — are derived from framework primitives: (i) three-layer brane incompressibility (Murasugi-sum topology + box-spring elasticity + auxetic surface tension with Poisson ratio ν = -1) gives exponential suppression stronger than the Cheung-Remmen ultrasoftness, with brane-collapse condition vgr ≤ 0. 963c and UV cutoff ΛUV = 5. 06 H₀; (ii) the Klein quartic K (7) = PSL (2, 7) ² saturates the Hurwitz bound 84 (g-1) = 168 = |PSL (2, 7) |, producing the Veneziano amplitude from brane standing-wave kinematics without invoking strings; (iii) the Belyi map (2, 3, 7) ramification fixes the minimal-zero structure exactly. Framework framing: string theory stands to OOB as Newtonian gravity stands to general relativity — a valid effective description in its regime, emergent from a deeper geometric foundation.
