A short lyric-philosophical meditation on the meanings of "home." Beginning with the way every creature names home as a series of widening circles — nest, tree, house, city, country, sky — the piece asks what humanity is finally rising toward, and whether the answer lies outward at all. Drawing on ideas of dwelling as belonging, of home as a way of being woven into the world, and of an old homesickness that no journey resolves, it reframes that longing not as a problem to be solved but as evidence of a home already carried within. Part of an ongoing series of philosophical prose.
