ABSTRACT This paper presents digital tutorial and exam tools that have been designed for Structural Analysis —a compulsory subject in the program Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering . The development and use of these tools have been driven by the objective to increase students' motivation and to improve their self‐learning behavior. The results of a test run of voluntary weekly activities combined with a digital mock exam in winter semester 2024/25 are presented and discussed in detail. Participation rates observed and anonymous quantitative and qualitative feedback obtained indicate that the weekly tutorials can significantly contribute to regular engagement of students with content and thus to a more effective and consistent learning experience throughout the semester.
