Abstract

This article focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies with intangible cultural heritage (ICH), exploring developmental trends and potential risks.The study indicates that AI opens new pathways for the preservation and transmission of ICH.Generative AI enables the digital reproduction of traditional crafts, interactive holographic technology supports living presentations, and a "trinity" communication model enhances dissemination efficiency.However, challenges such as technological adaptability remain.Technological trends are evident in three key areas: intelligent preservation and dissemination, achieved through the synergy of multiple technologies to enable digital archiving, intelligent analysis, and targeted communication; intelligent creation and presentation, which leverages algorithmic generation and extended reality to reshape modes of display; and intelligent experience and interaction, which relies on VR/AR and related technologies to construct immersive and personalized scenarios.At the same time, risks such as algorithmic bias and cultural distortion warrant careful consideration.A humanmachine collaborative ethical framework should be established, and interdisciplinary collaboration should be promoted to advance the sustainable development of ICH.
