Physical Picture of the World Without Magic: A Superfluid-Vacuum Model of Gravity, Cosmological Redshift, and Superluminal Dynamics

Abstract. This working hypothesis develops a physical picture of the world without metric “magic”: flat Galilean space filled with a real superfluid vacuum — a quantum condensate medium, aether-like but non-mechanical. Particles are treated as structures with superluminal internal dynamics; the speed of light is reframed as a property of electromagnetic propagation (light as re-emission by the medium), not a universal limit of motion. Gravity is modeled as Le Sage / shadow-pressure of the medium with finite range, rather than spacetime curvature. The framework offers a non-expanding (“breathing”) universe: cosmological redshift arises from homologous ballistic dispersal in flat space and medium interaction (tired light, coasting cosmology with q₀ = 0), not metric expansion; the CMB is the thermalized light of the distant structured universe (the Planckian limit of Olbers' paradox), cooled to 2.7 K by the real recession of our region — its temperature set by the matter density and the dynamics of dispersal, not by a single past event. Collapsars act as sources of matter without event horizons; superluminal astrophysical jets (e.g., M87) and chromatic dispersion in gravitational lensing are addressed directly. Accelerator and synchrotron data are reinterpreted within the medium picture. Faster-than-light signaling and causality are reconciled through a preferred medium frame, with a critique of “light-centrism”. Established mathematics is retained; the physical interpretation is reconstructed. New in version 4 — origin of mass and the particle spectrum. Version 4 extends the picture to the origin of particle mass: a particle is a stable cavern/vortex texture (a Q-ball-type non-topological soliton) of the superfluid vacuum, and its dynamical mass is locked energy of the medium's longitudinal mode. The Higgs mechanism is reframed as the relativistic superstructure over the same condensate mechanism that historically arose from superconductivity (Anderson, 1963). A radiation selection rule accounts for the electron's stability and the decay of the muon and tau; the Koide relation (Q = 2/3) and the count of exactly three lepton generations are derived from a Z₃ texture symmetry, with a falsifiable neutrino mass-sum estimate (Σmν ≈ 59 meV) — all without introducing quarks or color charge. What is structurally established, what remains a motivated hypothesis, and what is open (the absolute mass scale; the origin of the number three) are honestly demarcated. Механизм Хиггса переосмыслен как релятивистская надстройка над тем же конденсатным механизмом, выросшим из сверхпроводимости (Андерсон, 1963). Радиационное правило отбора объясняет стабильность электрона и распад мюона и тау; соотношение Койде (Q = 2/3) и ровно три поколения лептонов выводятся из Z₃-симметрии текстур, с фальсифицируемой оценкой суммы масс нейтрино (Σmν ≈ 59 мэВ) — без введения кварков и цветового заряда.
