The present study was conducted to see the effect of pravastatin on lipid composition of newly-secreted VLDL after injection of Triton WR 1339 in rats. Changes in the ration of apolipoprotein (apo) B subspecies in this lipoprotein fraction after pravastatin were also examined in order to determine if there is any relationship between Ch biosynthesis and apoB subspecies metabolism
