The Ontology of Logic: Causal Meta-Logic, Pipeline Networks, and the Engineering of Derivational Validity

The present document serves as the constitutional mother text for the ontology of logic within the Energy-Efficiency Theory (EET) framework. It occupies Pillar III: Derivational Validity in the five-pillar methodological constitution. Version 1. 4 is a constitutional reconstruction. Logic is defined as a pipeline network---an engineered, manageable, lifecycle-bound constraint network whose meta-logic is causality. Every logical rule is a compressed, direction-preserving residue of successful causal inference---a pipeline unit-segment, deposited after the inference event has ended. The network itself is the structured accumulation of past causal inferences, not a transport container for them. The core definition is justified through two convergent arguments: an elimination proof demonstrating that causality is the only candidate meta-logic satisfying four constitutional conditions, and an etymological witness from o---the original unity of logic and logistics as ``the management of flow. '' The document develops the complete pipeline network framework. Pipeline unit-segments are the structural residue of causal inference. Wall thickness measures cumulative deposition, saturating with repeated success and eroding with failure. Direction purity encodes the probabilistic nature of causal directionality, with p = 1. 0 attainable only in Rule-Causal domains. The directionality of every logical arrow is traced through a transference chain from Barrier Asymmetry to pipeline topology---no direction in logic is original to logic. The seven primitive operations of Generative Grammar v2. 0 are mapped onto the logic domain. The Pipeline Integrity Theorem defines four jointly necessary and sufficient conditions for a constraint network to be an EET-logic: causal domain anchoring, directionality, Encapsulate capacity, and Adjudicate mechanism. Logic is established as a process managed by Modelology (Pillar IV) through a bidirectional system-call interface. A three-tier normative structure distinguishes constitutional meta-rules, derivation rules, and logical laws. The Law of Non-Contradiction is established with a dual constitutional identity---Tier III logical law and Tier I constitutional meta-rule as Suppression. The thermodynamic economics of logic pipelines are developed: the dual energy account (maintenance vs. \ usage), pipeline internal inflation, inter-pipeline competition, pipeline network temperature, logical entropy, the pipeline economics of induction, and the specialization-generalization trade-off. Causal Pipeline Logic (CPL) is proposed as an AI-native logic system with six preset requirements and five revision requirements. The document applies its own norms to itself, declaring its truth-spectrum position (T1. 1 Proper Pseudo-Truth), acknowledging its use of borrowed logical pipelines, specifying four precise meltdown conditions, and resolving the Logic-Modelology constitutional recursion through L0. Fifty-six bridge declarations register the constitutional interfaces to all relevant EET mother texts.
