Identifies one candidate reconciliation (UNVERIFIED). Extends T272's one-wall result to a fourth side. Every claim tagged ESTABLISHED / AMENDED / UNVERIFIED / OPEN. === DESCRIPTION (abstract) === Photonic Universe Hypothesis (PUH) — Synthesis and Status Amendment. THE PROBLEM: the archive gives contradictory answers to "what is dark energy? " T174 (C174. 2): Lambda IS the total zero-point energy of the E8 root oscillators. T252: "Lambda is not vacuum energy but a STUCK CASCADE — a constant residual drain rate frozen in place by mobility collapse. " T178 (P178. 4): OmegaLambda ~ 0. 68 accounted for by the cumulative Planck-core drain "without a cosmological constant. " Two ontologies, flagged IN-TENSION by the Correlation Atlas (Vol VI). THE MAP (two families). FAMILY A (vacuum-energy: T174 -> T235 Refinement -> T170): Lambda as zero-point energy; the T235 Refinement decomposed the 240 modes per Planck cell into 3 acoustic + 237 optical, computed the pre-suppression scale ~118. 5 EP per cell, identified the result as "the standard QFT cosmological-constant catastrophe, " and delegated the resolution to T170's micro-rebound rate Gammaᵣebound (suppression ~10¹23 required). T170 deferred the computation to "a companion paper" that was never delivered (targeted archive searches confirm its absence). Finiteness ESTABLISHED (the lattice self-regulates the UV sum) ; observable value OPEN, gated entirely on the underived Gammaᵣebound. FAMILY B (drain: T178 -> T251 -> T252 -> T253 -> T254): Hubble rate as the fractional drain rate of all Planck cores; exact halt law and H = k (dPhi/dt) /r2² under logged joints (T252) ; the split/compact binary (p=8 / p=124) mapped onto the live Lambda-versus-evolving-dark-energy question (DESI as arbiter) ; T253's one-sixth-law honest negative DISSOLVED by T254's core mass spectrum (rate-free gate m_* III substrate transition rate — Gammaᵣebound (per volume) and the folding throughput Rₛub (per area, T213). T170's own unification table states the micro-rebound and cosmic rebound are "the same geometric event at different scales"; T210 places both under one rate-limit framework. Candidate: ONE substrate rate, TWO appearances — the suppression of the vacuum-energy reading and the frozen drain of the mechanical reading. If forced, the ontological contradiction dissolves in the T271 pattern. Recorded as the designated reconciliation target, not claimed; adjudication requires the equation of state. THE WALL'S FOURTH SIDE: T272 showed phi₀, the freeze exponent, and the area-law cell count reduce to the single Rₛub/EoS keystone (one wall, three sides). The Lambda suppression is the fourth side — T252 ("constants. . . require the equation of state"), T253/T254 (joints inherited), T210, and the T235 Refinement's delegation to Gamma all gate on the same quantity. The Lambda problem opens no new wall; it lands on THE wall. PUH's four deepest open problems are one well-localised computation. LIVE ARBITERS: the EoS (the wall) ; DESI w (z) (adjudicating the split/compact binary now; T254's derived thawing-transient direction noted, no fit claimed) ; T254's astrophysical inputs and the named amalgamation refinement; P178. 4's integral from the observed black-hole mass function (the drain family's direct test, open). APPENDIX A (QUARANTINED, relied upon nowhere): rhoP / N = 6. 25e-10 J/m³ with T179's independently defined core count N = (R/lP) ² = 7. 41e122 — within ~19% of observed rhoLambda. Mandatory caveats: this is the known holographic dark-energy scaling (Cohen-Kaplan-Nelson 1999; Li 2004) ; it is quasi-circular as a postdiction (rhoP (lP/RH) ² = (8pi/3) rhocrit is an exact identity for RH = c/H0, verified algebraically) ; the sole PUH-internal content is that the suppression is numerically 1/N with N independently defined (T179) ; 19% should be weighed against PUH's genuine precision (0. 0004 deg; 0. 24%). Recorded for a future derivation — via the Section 5 rate identification, should the EoS permit — to confirm or kill. NOT CLAIMED: that PUH derives the observed Lambda (neither family does at present) ; that either family is selected; that the rate identification is established; that Appendix A carries evidential weight; or that any fit to w (z), H0, or q0 data is made.
