Universal Design for Learning (UDL) has emerged as a widely recognized framework for promoting equitable access to education and improving learning outcomes in inclusive classrooms. This study examines the impact of UDL implementation on the academic achievement and classroom participation of students with disabilities in inclusive secondary schools. The research aims to investigate how the integration of UDL principles, including multiple means of engagement, representation, and action and expression, influences students' academic performance and active involvement in classroom activities. A quantitative research design was employed, involving teachers and students from inclusive secondary schools. Data were collected through standardized academic assessments, classroom observation checklists, and student participation questionnaires. The findings indicate that the effective implementation of UDL strategies significantly enhances students' academic achievement while increasing their engagement, collaboration, and confidence during classroom instruction. Furthermore, the study highlights the critical role of teacher preparedness and instructional flexibility in maximizing the benefits of UDL. The results suggest that adopting UDL as an instructional framework can foster a more inclusive learning environment where students with diverse learning needs have equal opportunities to succeed academically and socially. The study provides practical implications for educators, school administrators, and policymakers seeking to strengthen inclusive education practices through evidence-based instructional approaches.
