Photonic Universe Hypothesis (PUH) — Extension and Resolution. THE CONFLICT FOUND. Extending the tension identification to rotating cores exposed a contradiction between two filed results. T156–157 gives the echo delay as (2/κc) ·ln (rₚh/lP) with κ the Kerr surface gravity — the Planck length inside the logarithm places the reflecting surface at Planck proper distance from the horizon r₊. T299's identification λ/λ₀ = (−ξ·ξ) ⁻¹, with ξ the static Killing vector, instead diverges where ξ goes null, which in Kerr is the ERGOSPHERE — at 2M in the equatorial plane for every spin. For a non-rotating core these coincide (r₊ = 2M), which is exactly why neither paper could have caught it; for a rotating core they disagree by forty percent at spin 0. 9 even in T299's most favourable limit, and by more than a factor of two at λ*/λ₀ = 3. WHY THE COROTATING KILLING VECTOR CANNOT BE USED. The obvious repair — replace ξ by χ = ∂ₜ + ΩH∂_φ, which is null on the horizon — fails structurally. χ is timelike only between the horizon and the velocity-of-light surface and SPACELIKE beyond (verified: χ·χ > 0 at large r for every spin; transition at 11. 9M for spin 0. 3, 6. 3M for 0. 5, 2. 1M for 0. 9). The field (−χ·χ) ⁻¹ would be infinite at the horizon, finite in a shell, INFINITE AGAIN at the velocity-of-light surface, and NEGATIVE beyond, never approaching λ₀ at infinity. Not a tension field with a ground state. THEOREM 300. 1 (the identification). The correct invariant is the lapse of the LOCALLY NON-ROTATING (zero-angular-momentum) observer: λ/λ₀ = α⁻² = A/ (ΣΔ), with Σ = r² + a²cos²θ, Δ = r² − 2Mr + a², A = (r²+a²) ² − Δa²sin²θ. Four properties verified symbolically: (i) reduces EXACTLY to T299's V² = 1 − 2M/r at zero spin, so T298/T299 are untouched; (ii) tends to λ₀ at infinity; (iii) rises inward, matching T193's picture; (iv) diverges on Δ = 0, the HORIZON — not the ergosphere. T156–157's placement is recovered and the conflict dissolved: both filed statements are correct once the right invariant is used. THE PHYSICAL CORRECTION. T299 read the Shell as where the lattice can no longer hold a STATIC configuration — which selects the ergosphere. But the PUH core rotates and drags the lattice: the Shell-Dynamo Theorem builds the magnetic field from the London moment of a rotating Shell, and the Three Boundaries block structure is the lattice responding mechanically to differential rotation. Rest relative to a dragged medium is not staticity; it is the locally non-rotating frame. CORRECTED READING: the lattice unfolds where it can no longer hold a configuration at rest RELATIVE TO THE DRAGGED SUBSTRATE ITSELF — the only criterion the substrate could be sensitive to, since a lattice element responds to its own local state, not to a distant observer's convention about rotation. Schwarzschild cannot distinguish the readings (no dragging ⇒ ZAMO = static), which is why the error had to wait for the rotating case. THEOREM 300. 2. α⁻² is monotone increasing inward and diverges at Δ → 0⁺, so any finite λ* is attained strictly outside r₊: THE SHELL REMAINS NECESSARILY EXTERIOR, now for rotating cores, by the same argument as T298's Theorem 298. 2. Verified numerically to spin 0. 999 at all latitudes tested. The Shell is an OBLATE SPHEROID: at λ*/λ₀ = 3 the equatorial/polar radii are 2. 944M/2. 914M at spin 0. 5, 2. 815M/2. 700M at 0. 9, 2. 774M/2. 627M at 0. 99 (oblateness 1. 056). Unlike the rejected reading, the whole surface contracts toward the horizon as spin rises rather than the equator being pinned at 2M. T298's imaging bound is recovered and conservative: at zero spin the Shell at λ*/λ₀ = 3 sits at 3M, exactly the photon sphere; for spinning cores it lies further inside. RESULT 300. 3 (a floor from accretion). The rejected reading made rapid rotation IMPOSSIBLE: its equatorial Shell at 2MX/ (X−1) exceeds 2M for every finite X, while the ISCO falls inside 2M above spin 0. 943 — so the Shell would swallow the inner disc and NO value of X escapes. Under Identification 300. 1 the same requirement becomes a BOUND, because the Shell tracks the horizon and contracts with spin. Requiring the Shell inside the ISCO — so discs may extend there, as standard spin analyses assume — gives λ*/λ₀ ≳ 6. 3 (GX 339-4, spin ≈ 0. 94), ≳ 7. 2 (Cygnus X-1, > 0. 95), and ≳ 14. 1 (GRS 1915+105 and MCG-6-30-15, ≈ 0. 98). COMBINED FLOOR: λ*/λ₀ ≳ 14 — about five times tighter than T298's imaging bound of 3, and the first constraint on the substrate ratio from anything other than imaging. At that value the Shell sits within 8% of the horizon radius at zero spin and 35% at spin 0. 98 — the long-delay echo regime where T156–157's Planck-offset formula is the appropriate limit. All three constraints (imaging, accretion, echo phenomenology) push toward the same corner: large ratio, Shell hugging the horizon. CONDITIONAL, STATED PLAINLY: the bound assumes standard spin determinations are correct, and those assume discs extend to the ISCO. If the Shell truncated discs instead, measured radii would be Shell radii, inferred spins would need reanalysis, and the bound rederived. That reanalysis is not performed here. Reflection-spectroscopy spins carry known systematics and are debated; values are quoted from the literature without independent assessment. KILL-CONDITIONS: (i) if substrate dynamics yields λ as a function of an invariant other than the lapse, Identification 300. 1 is superseded and the placement redone — possibly with the divergence elsewhere than the horizon, requiring T297, T298 and this note to be rebuilt against a different reference surface; (ii) a black hole with spin above 0. 98 plus confirmed inner-disc emission inside the Shell radius at λ*/λ₀ ≈ 14 raises the floor; (iii) if λ*/λ₀ is derived below 14, either the identification or the spin determinations must give way; (iv) if imaging resolves a Shell that is not oblate, or whose oblateness does not track spin per Theorem 300. 2, the identification fails. NOT CLAIMED: that λ depends on the lapse at all (still an IDENTIFICATION, as in T299, not derived from any E8 field equation; T298's audit finding that the framework has no such equation stands unaltered) ; a value for λ*/λ₀, only a floor; independence from the spin literature; extension beyond Kerr to non-stationary or non-axisymmetric cases; numerical echo delays (these need the value, not the floor) ; or any correction to T298/T299, whose non-rotating results stand.
