Abstract Lignanamides are lignans containing amide functional groups, which show significantly anti‐inflammatory. From the Tribulus terrestris fruits, six lignanamides ( 1 ‐ 6 ) and four other nitrogen compounds ( 7 ‐ 10 ) were isolated. Of which, compounds 1 and 2 were previously undescribed. Their structures were elucidated by HR‐ESI‐MS, 1D, 2D‐NMR, and ECD spectra in comparison with the reported data. Lignanamides 1 – 6 significantly exhibited NO production inhibitory activity in LPS activated RAW 264.7 cells with IC 50 values ranging from 5.8 to 26.5 µM.
