In March 2017, a salvage excavation was conducted in Peqi‘in Street in Rehovot (Kefar Gevirol; Permit No. A-7948; map ref. 178537–75/644609–716; Fig. 1), prior to road construction and infrastructure works. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Avisror company, was directed by U. ‘Ad (field photography), with the assistance of M.
