In the context of the transformation of forms and mechanisms for the implementation of legal relations, as well as the formation of new tools and models for interaction, trust among participants in economic processes is subject to change and requires reflection, systematization, and the development of reliable solutions. The paper examines current issues that arise during the creation and development of new financial instruments — digital financial assets. The aim is to identify approaches and directions for development, systematize principles, and determine the directions for building trust in their use. Based on the results of the research, the current state of affairs in the field of digital financial assets has been analyzed, vectors for development have been identified, problematic factors have been highlighted, and suggestions have been formulated.
