Key issues in the development of sports and recreation infrastructure in the historical settlement of samara

The article examines the main problems of the state and development of sports and recreational infrastructure within the boundaries of the historical settlement of the city of Samara. The main categories and types of objects represented in this territory are listed. An assessment of the technical condition of buildings and structures and the degree of development of sports and recreational infrastructure is provided. A calculation was made of the provision of the territory of the historical settlement with objects of this typology. An urban planning analysis was carried out to identify territorial reserves for the development of a sports and recreational network. The main problems encountered when designing or modernizing sports and recreational facilities within the boundaries of a historical settlement have been identified. The need to revise the design principles and urban planning regulations for the objects under consideration has been identified.
