Catalytic activities of platinum metal group catalysts supported on various metal oxides for NO conversion to NH3 (NOx-To-Ammonia: NTA) were investigated using the NO–CO–H2O and NO–H2 reactions. Pt/TiO2 exhibited high NTA activity at 200 °C for both reactions. Effects of space velocity on NTA activity of Pt/TiO2 revealed that NH3 formation rate for NO–CO–H2O reaction below 200 °C reached maximum capacity, whereas that for NO–H2 reaction increased with higher space velocity.
