The enzyme UDP-galactose-4-epimerase (GalE) is crucial for the cellular biosynthesis of nucleotide-sugars. In the Research Article e20304, Benjamin Schumann and co-workers use a synergistic fragment screening strategy to develop both covalent and non-covalent inhibitors against GalE.
