Currently, minimally invasive methods of surgical interventions on abdominal organs are rapidly developing and improving in veterinary medicine. Laparoscopic methods allow operations to be performed with minimal invasiveness and injury, providing good visualization of the area of interest during surgical procedures. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of laparoscopy during surgical interventions on abdominal organs in animals. In the period from 2015 to 2024 on the basis of the Department of Veterinary Surgery MGAVMiB named after K. I. Scriabina, we performed 893 laparoscopic surgical procedures on the abdominal organs of small domestic, laboratory and farm animals. Laparoscopic methods have shown their high efficiency in our work. High-precision endoscopic equipment made it possible to visualize in detail the area of interest where the surgical intervention was performed, which reduced the risk of complications both during the manipulation itself and in the postoperative period. By performing laparoscopic surgical procedures, we minimized surgical access, tissue injury and accelerated the time of surgical intervention, which reduced the risk of intraoperative and postoperative complications and facilitated the care of animals in the postoperative period.
