Summary In response to the evolving hospitality, tourism, and food industries, Hotelschool The Hague (HTH) introduced the SENSE Manifesto, a commitment to embedding sustainability throughout the institution. As part of a key master’s project, the authors undertook a comprehensive internal and external review to assess and support the Manifesto’s implementation, including stakeholder interviews, financial and strategic analyses, marketing planning, and the development of supporting educational materials. Guided by a holistic research approach, the authors developed a practical, actionable implementation plan to ensure the Manifesto’s values are integrated across all areas of the institution resulting in an effective implementation of the Manifesto taking into account staff and student pushback.
