Community health workers (CHWs) play a crucial role in preventive healthcare services delivery in urban Ethiopia's diverse communities. Training methods were compared using mixed-methods, including surveys and focus groups among 100 randomly selected CHWs in urban settings. CHWs showed a significant preference for interactive training (72%) over traditional lecture-based methods (28%). Interactive training improved service adoption rates by 35% compared to conventional approaches, enhancing outreach efficiency. Promote interactive training models and integrate feedback loops into CHW programmes for continuous improvement. Community Health Workers, Preventive Healthcare Services, Training Methods, Outreach Efficiency Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
