Female skilled workers in Ghana's Accra Metropolis face challenges related to skill acquisition and labour market integration despite formal education. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including a survey of 200 participants to evaluate programme efficacy and qualitative interviews with stakeholders. Participants reported significant improvements in their professional skills post-training, with 85% showing improved employability. Vocational training programmes have shown positive impacts on skill acquisition and labour market integration among female skilled workers in Accra Metropolis. Further tailored vocational training initiatives should be implemented to address specific workforce needs identified by participants.
