ABSTRACT Fifty‐eight patients were fitted with both the Griffin Naturalens and the Bausch and Lomb Softens™. A comparison of the two types of flexible contact lenses shows advantages to each. More patients were fitted successfully with the Naturalens and its required less time to fit initially: the Soflens is less expensive to maintain, more durable, easier and simpler to handle, less time consuming to maintain, more stable, and requires less in office time in the long run.
