Abstract

A scheme of fieldwalking reconnaissance has been carried out on approximately 6.75 hectares of land adjacent to the site of the former Creswell colliery, Derbyshire. This survey revealed only glass, post-medieval pottery, and other post-medieval ceramic materials. No finds of an earlier date were found, and no marked concentrations of materials were noted.
