The watching brief comprised the continuous archaeological monitoring of four repair pits. The overburden across the area subject to excavation was machine excavated down to the start of the archaeological horizon or depth of development, whichever was the shallower. All Repair Pits were located over areas containing an asbestos water pipe which was repaired once the leak had been. There were no archaeological finds or features due to the excavations being within previously disturbed ground.
