Background: GAD65 antibodies (GAD65Abs) are implicated in autoimmune-mediated neurological syndromes, including stiff person syndrome and cerebellar ataxia. Identification of intrathecal GAD65Ab synthesis could provide relevant clinical information to requesting physicians.
