Uganda has a growing economy but faces challenges in fostering entrepreneurship through formal education. A comparative analysis of data from three major Ugandan universities, focusing on graduates' entrepreneurial activities and educational experiences over five years. Data revealed significant differences in the proportion of alumni engaging in new ventures based on their degree programmes (e.g., Business Administration vs. Economics). Business education plays a crucial role but varies by institution, highlighting the need for tailored entrepreneurship support strategies. Institutions should tailor curricula and mentorship programmes to match local entrepreneurial needs.
