Abstract Management consulting is a new and important growth area in the practice of public accounting. Many of the skills associated with the consulting process can be effectively taught in an academic environment. The purpose of this paper is to discuss pedagogical approaches of educating management consultants. A course in management consulting taught at Brigham Young University is presented as one educational approach.
