Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly changing education systems around the world. This paper examines how AI tools affect students and teachers through a review of recent research. On the positive side, AI helps students learn at their own speed (personalized learning) and saves time for teachers by automating paperwork. However, it also creates serious problems, such as students cheating on homework, losing their critical thinking skills, and a growing gap between rich and poor students. The paper concludes that banning AI is not a good solution. Instead, schools should use a hybrid model where AI acts as an assistant, but human teachers remain the essential guides for students.
