Theoretical exploration addresses the origin of life, suggesting human efforts to find its starting point may be futile due to cosmic constraints.
One of the ultimate problems in science is about the origin of life. This paper provides a big picture of the question which allows understanding and hence theoretically solving the puzzle. The big picture consists in depicting a general sketch of cosmic speed, distances and times. The main argument says here that the origin of life does not exist any longer, and it is vain to empirically or experimentally seek for such an origin, since time, speed and change make impossible to look for and find a presumably aboriginal locus or moment. Good science is after all about grasping, i.e. understanding, not just predicting or experimentally proving something. Moreover, life or the living beings are not rare events, but their origin is.
