This methodology demonstrates efficient synthesis of functionalized heteroarenes from electron-poor alkenes, suggesting a green approach using photocatalytic techniques.
In this work we employed the photochemistry of tetrabutylammonium decatungstate (TBADT) combined with Cobalt to achieve the one-pot synthesis and functionalisation of heteroarenes. This strategy has been tested on several electron-poor alkenes to achieve different fsubstituted heteroarenes in a green, sustainable and scalable approach.
