Proposed optical majority gate utilizes graphene plasmonic waveguides, highlighting enhanced performance in photonic computing.
Abstract In this paper, we propose a novel design for an optical majority gate utilizing graphene plasmonic waveguides, aiming to enable ultra-compact, high-speed, and low-power optical logic operations. For designing the proposed structure five graphene plamonic based waveguides were used. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed gate achieves high contrast ratios and low insertion loss within a subwavelength footprint, showcasing its potential for integration in photonic computing and optical signal processing circuits. This work highlights the advantages of graphene plasmonics in realizing scalable, high-performance all-optical logic components for next-generation nanophotonic systems.
