Hybrid AI techniques improve voltage stability in isolated microgrids, suggesting enhanced reliability in challenging environments.
Isolated islanded grids face significant challengesin voltage stability due to fluctuating demand, limited generationsources, and lack of centralized control. This paperpresents a hybrid artificial intelligence (AI)-based voltage stabilizationapproach tailored for isolated microgrids operatingunder constrained conditions. Leveraging rule-based systems, neural predictive controllers, and real-time feedback throughadaptive algorithms, the proposed method achieves dynamicvoltage compensation with high precision. Implemented in bothsoftware simulations and embedded hardware environments, the system demonstrates robust voltage stabilization under variousperturbation scenarios. Experimental validations reflectimproved system response, reduced oscillations, and enhancedresilience compared to traditional PI and rule-based techniques. The model is extendable to remote military, naval, and aerospaceinstallations requiring autonomous grid reliability.
