This paper demonstrates improved energy output in wind power plants using a rotating magnetic field, suggesting new efficiency strategies.
This paper considers the issue of increasing the efficiency of low-power wind power plants, i.e. those operating in areas where the wind speed is 3-5 m/sec. It is said that improving the efficiency of a wind power plant, in these conditions, acquires a primary role. But on the other hand, there is Betz’s law, which limits the possibilities of using wind energy. Based on this law, ideally, a wind power plant can use a maximum of 59% of the wind flow energy. In practice, this percentage is much more modest. Despite the efforts of leading engineers in this field, their results are still very modest. In this paper, a very simple technology is proposed to improve the efficiency of wind power plants. This technology is based on the use of a rotating magnetic field to generate additional electrical energy during the operation of a wind power plant. The paper presents a technology for obtaining a rotating magnetic field and obtaining additional electrical energy. The resulting wind power plant was called a hybrid wind power plant. Keywords. Energy, efficiency, rotating magnetic field, wind turbine, wind flow, wind speed.
