This method enables dynamic image resolution adjustment in a single-pixel camera, highlighting effectiveness for focus.
In this research, we propose a new method that does not use a fixed resolution for a single-pixel camera and it enables the camera to record images of the object in various resolutions based on the amounts of obtained measurements. We conducted a simulation to evaluate the effectiveness of our method, which demonstrated that our approach can quickly generate a low-resolution preview image and continuously perform the reconstruction process at a higher resolution until it reaches a specific desired resolution. This approach allows us to observe an early low-resolution image of the object and help adjusting the camera settings and identifying regions that contain significant information for focus.
