Research shows the effects of coal gangue and graphite tailings on mechanical properties of geopolymer concrete, indicating potential for improved strength.
To research the influence of coal gangue and graphite tailings on the mechanical properties of geopolymer concrete, 9 groups of samples were prepared according to the substitution rates of coal gangue instead of a coarse aggregate of 0%, 30%, and 50%, and the substitution rates of graphite tailings for quartz sand of 0%, 15%, and 30%, respectively. The increase of coal gangue content affects the development of the later strength of geopolymer concrete, and conversely, graphite tailings are conducive to the formation of later strength.
