Case study analyzes cultural education outcomes in Berlin's schools and local community interactions, suggesting mutual growth.
The local community is the place where the school curriculum is implemented, which includes both means and purposes, and the area can grow with the school curriculum. Based on the importance of the school curriculum and the regional linkage, the aim of this study is to analyze the music and art curriculum of state of Berlin in German and the case of the school curriculum and local education linkage. The following three suggestions were suggested by the case study of the school curriculum in the German state of Berlin in Germany and the linkage between them. First, the goals and competencies of the curriculum should be clearly presented, and the autonomy of the school should be allowed in the selection of the specific education contents. Second, the educational link between school curriculum and local communities should be done in a way that the school and the area can grow mutually. Third, in order to revitalize the educational link between school curriculum and local communities, it is necessary to link and collaborate with relevant departments at the level of state and province.
