Quantitative analysis reveals how environmental concern and service innovation influence revisit intention, suggesting destination image mediates this relationship.
This study aims to analyze the influence of Environmental Concern and Service Innovation on Revisit Intention at Central Market PIK–Jakarta, with Destination Image as a mediating variable. A quantitative method was employed using Structural Equation Modelling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to analyze data collected from 240 respondents. The respondents consisted of general visitors to Central Market PIK and its surrounding areas who had prior visiting experience and had decided to revisit. The results indicate that both Environmental Concern and Service Innovation have a positive and significant influence on Revisit Intention. Furthermore, Destination Image is proven to mediate the relationship between Environmental Concern and Service Innovation toward Revisit Intention. These findings suggest that Destination Image plays a crucial role in shaping consumer decisions to revisit, particularly in an increasingly competitive and innovation-driven sustainable tourism industry. This study offers valuable insights for businesses to further optimize their sustainability and innovation strategies to enhance competitiveness and stimulate consumer purchase interest by aligning communication strategies and product or service differentiation based on green innovation.
