Experimental research determines effective tension bar types in rebar cage modules, highlighting enhanced molding efficiency.
In this paper, to solve the problems of small installation space of bent anchor rebar and limited intensive casting of rebar in rebar cage module, realize the mechanized production of rebar cage module in nuclear engineering, and improve the molding efficiency of rebar cage module, we conduct experimental research on the different tension bar types in the rebar cage module, and then determine the best tension bar type. Through the test, the tension bar is made into two types of rebar-anchor plate and bent-anchored rebar. Among them, the rebar-anchor plate part is divided into two molding methods: straight thread connection and friction welding connection. Reinforced concrete specimens of the same size and configuration were fabricated according to typical walls of nuclear engineering. The members under different forms of tension bars were subjected to shear-bearing capacity test studies. The test phenomena, load-displacement curves, and load-strain curves are analyzed. It is concluded that the deformation performance under load is similar between the rebar-anchored plate section and the bent-anchored rebar. The rebar-anchor plate type can be used for the rebar cage module in nuclear engineering.
